Umrah is not a mandatory worship like Hajj but is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and has a great importance in Islam. Muslims can perform it at any time of the year at lower costs than that of Hajj. It provides reward equal to that of Hajj when it is performed in the month of Ramadan.
